Our approach with parents

You are always
part of the process

We believe parents and caregivers are essential partners in a child's healing. After every few sessions, we provide parent guidance โ€” sharing strategies, progress insights, and ways to support your child at home.

"My son wouldn't tell me what was wrong. His therapist at Manoveda understood him in ways I couldn't โ€” and then taught me how to connect with him again."

Common questions

Parents ask us
these most often

At what age can a child start therapy?
Therapy can begin as early as age 3, though approaches differ significantly by age. For very young children (3โ€“6), we use play therapy and parent-guided interventions. For older children and teens, we use age-appropriate talk therapy, CBT, and skills-based approaches.
Will my child be forced to talk about things they don't want to?
Absolutely not. Our child therapists are trained to create a safe, completely non-pressuring space. We go at the child's pace โ€” using play, drawing, stories, and creative activities alongside conversation.
Do parents attend sessions too?
It depends on the child's age and the situation. For younger children, a parent may be present for all or part of sessions. For older children, individual sessions tend to be more effective โ€” but we always schedule regular parent consultation sessions.
My child has been diagnosed with ADHD. What can therapy do?
Therapy is a highly effective complement to ADHD management โ€” we work on attention skills, organisational strategies, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and parent training for home management.
Can sessions be in Hindi?
Yes โ€” all sessions for children and teens can be conducted in Hindi, English, or a mix of both, whatever feels most natural.
